Engineering universities/ colleges located in Delhi consider national-level/ university-level entrance test score for B.Tech admission. As there are numerous private deemed universities and engineering colleges, the B.Tech admission process in Delhi is not similar to other states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Haryana. Privates deemed universities conduct their own admission process for B.Tech courses while state-run engineering universities conduct centralised admission process for B.Tech admission in coordinating university and affiliated colleges. About Delhi B.Tech Admissions 2020
State-run engineering universities and private deemed universities in Delhi begin admission process for B.Tech in the month of June every year. The entrance exams for B.Tech admission in Delhi complete in the month of May and the counselling process for Delhi B.Tech admissions begin in June. Students must note that the admission process for B.Tech courses in Delhi is different from one university to the other. Therefore, students must have complete awareness of B.Tech admission options in Delhi and the admission process for the same.

Note: - In this article, we have elaborated the counselling process for B.Tech admissions conducted by the Joint Admission Committee (JAC) and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). Private deemed universities conduct their own entrance test or admission process for B.Tech courses.

Entrance Exams Accepted by Delhi Engineering Colleges 2020
JEE Main is widely accepted by most of the engineering universities/ colleges in Delhi. If the candidates are willing to secure admission through JAC (Joint Admission Counselling), JEE Main score is mandatory for the admission. Candidates aspiring to secure B.Tech admission in GGSIPU must note that they must clear IPU CET (Common Entrance Test) for B.Tech courses. Private deemed universities also accept JEE Main score for B.Tech admissions. Candidates without a valid score in JEE Main can get admission in private deemed universities through Class 12 merit or university-level entrance test.
