The candidate should be a BSc graduate from a recognised university.
The candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% in their graduation.
The candidate should have a major or minor in the subject opted for in MSc.
Admission Process for Distance MSc Courses
Students need to follow an admission process in order to complete the formalities right.
Chose University/College: The first step a candidate must take is to search for a college or university which offers correspondence or distance courses in MSc. Check the fees, the seats offered eligibility criteria which are set for the course. Identify what the requirements are as offered by college/university.
Apply for Course: Once the candidate has identified the university which is a correspondence or distance course in MSc, the candidate can proceed to apply for admission. Fill up the details as required and pay the application fee. The application forms are available for a limited period of time so the candidate is advised to know the details way in advance.
Online Entrance Exam or Merit List: Universities and Colleges generally conduct entrance exams for admission in MSc, be it full time or regular or distance. Students will be judged on the marks secured in their graduation and the marks in the entrance exam. If students manage to make the merit-list and make the cut-off, they advance in the admission process.
Results: Qualified candidates make the merit list. The student has to get the desired rank and percentage, to be eligible for admission.
